📅 March 23, 2018 – Accenture, First Job, Full Chaos
I still remember the day — 23rd March, 2018. Fresh out of college. Java? Yeah, I "knew" it. HTML and CSS? "Totally got it." (Spoiler: I didn’t.)
I was just another software engineer trainee trying to act like I knew what I was doing. Then out of nowhere, like a plot twist in a show you didn’t sign up for, someone assigned me something called Salesforce Stream.
And I said the only thing anyone in my shoes would say:
"Wait, what’s that?"
🎢 The Ride Begins
Salesforce? I had barely heard of it. And now they were trusting me with a thing that had "stream" in its name? For a second, I thought it was a feature in Netflix.
Turns out, Salesforce Stream is about real-time data integration — where external systems shout "Hey! Something happened!" and Salesforce reacts like a superhero. Okay, that’s cool… but try telling that to a confused fresher who still thinks CRUD is a personality trait.
🙃 Switching Streams? Not That Simple
Here’s the catch: in a company, you can’t really change your stream. You don’t get to walk up and say “Hey boss, Salesforce is too cloudy for me, give me Java instead.”
So yeah… I had to stick with it.
But hey, I wasn’t complaining (much). You know why?
Because the guy next to me got manual testing.
Manual. Testing.
Manual.
People said, “Bro, you got Salesforce? That’s amazing!”
“Lucky you,” they said.
“You’ll thank us later,” they said.
So I did what any naive fresher would do. I believed them.
🌱 Maybe They Were Right?
So I dove in. I clicked around. I broke a few things. But I kept going.
And as the months passed, I started thinking:
What if I actually become good at this?
What if I become a real Trailblazer?
Maybe even — dare I say — a top 1% Salesforce professional someday?
And when I do?
I’ll retire early, grow a beard (maybe), and teach Salesforce to the next batch of confused juniors.
🚀 Now It's 2025 – And Here's What I'm Doing
It’s been a ride. Now I’m in Bangalore, building Namaste Salesforce — a place to document this journey, share what I’ve learned, and maybe even teach a thing or two.
I’m mixing a little coding, a little storytelling, and a whole lot of creative freedom — videos, blogs, and whatever else this platform lets me do.
The goal?
Build a community.
Tell stories.
Help future Trailblazers.
And never forget where it started.
